Additional charges are $____________________ Page 2 The Boston will be a Pet, Breeding, or Show Prospect as determined by the Seller DEFINITIONS: Pet Quality is defined as a dog sold as a family companion only. It is not sold as a breeding animal. The puppy’s registration certificate will be marked “LIMITED REGISTRATION” and the puppy will NOT be able to produce offspring eligible for registration. In addition a puppy sold as a pet is required to be altered by the age of 10 months and a copy of the certificate of alteration is to be sent to the seller. 1) I, as the Buyer agree I am purchasing a Pet Quality puppy. Buyers Initials___________ 2) I as the Buyer agree to spay/neuter this animal by 10 months of age and send copy of alteration certificate to Seller. Buyers Initials___________ 3) I, as the Buyer agree not to breed this animal. Buyers Initials_______ Show or Breeding Quality is defined as a dog that has the POTENTIAL to be shown and titled in the conformation ring. This dog will be free of disqualifying faults and will have no known genetic fault at the TIME OF SALE. Buyer’s Initials ___________ GENERAL HEALTH WARRANTY: The health of the above animal is excellent to of the best of the Seller’s knowledge at the time of sale, and the animal is not suffering from any known disease or defect which would prevent it from living a healthy or normal life. However, the Seller encourages the Buyer to have a veterinarian examine the dog within 72 hours of purchase. If the Veterinarian finds the dog to have a pre-existing malady or to be in poor health, the dog may be returned to the Seller, at the expense of the Buyer, for a full refund of the purchase price or for a replacement animal as soon as reasonably possible, with one of equal value to the animal at the time of original purchase. The decision to replace the animal or to refund the purchase price will be the Sellers. This does not include follow-up de-worming treatment or treatment for intestinal upset due to the stress of relocating the dog. This animal has passed the BAER test for hearing, the CERF test for eyes and the OFA Preliminary Patella test for stifle soundness, and the copies of the appropriate paperwork will be given to the Buyer. GENETIC DEFECT WARRANTY: To the best of Sellers knowledge this animal is not suffering from any genetic defect which would prevent it from living an otherwise healthy or normal life. If a licensed Veterinarian determines there is a life threatening genetic defect ,the dog may be returned to Seller,( at the expense of Buyer) for a full refund of purchase price, or for a replacement animal( as soon as a replacement is available.) The decision to provide replacement or to refund purchase price will be the Sellers. THIS GENETIC DEFECT WARRANTY IS GOOD FOR DOGS LIFETIME Page3 Down payments, deposits and sales payments are non-refundable with the exceptions stated in this contract. Under no circumstance will the Seller be responsible for any type of veterinarian costs, exams, tests, medical treatments, medications or supplements. In addition, the Seller will not be responsible for any transportation charges of any kind at any time. If an animal is returned to the Seller under any circumstances the correctly signed AKC registration and any health records will be returned also. If any provision of this agreement is or becomes void or unenforceable by force or operation of law, the other provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
